We work with organizations facing real-world threats—casinos, hotels, critical infrastructure, corporate offices, private industries, and high-value clients who demand precision, discretion, and results.

We are seeking a high-caliber Sales Representative to help accelerate our growth by identifying new clients, building strategic relationships, and expanding Blackthorn Tactical’s presence across key sectors. This is a commission-based position, ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a high-autonomy, performance-driven environment.


Role Overview

The Sales Representative plays a critical role in connecting organizations with the advanced security services they need to strengthen resilience, harden defenses, and reduce risk exposure. This position requires a strong professional presence, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to speak confidently about technical and operational services.

This is a commission-only role, designed for high performers capable of independently generating and closing leads. Compensation is directly tied to results, with no cap on earning potential.


Primary Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Client Prospecting

  • Identify potential clients across industries such as hospitality, casinos, corporate offices, industrial sites, retail, private security divisions, and high-net-worth estates.

  • Research and assess organizations with potential vulnerabilities or operational gaps that could benefit from our services.

  • Generate qualified leads through outbound outreach, networking, trade shows, conferences, and direct relationship-building.

  • Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects and track progress from initial interest through closing.


2. Client Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Present Blackthorn Tactical’s full suite of services—including red teaming, vulnerability analysis, blue teaming support, and threat assessments—in a clear, client-focused manner.

  • Build trust and rapport with decision-makers, executives, security directors, and operational leadership.

  • Understand the client’s industry, operational pressures, and threat landscape to position services as strategic solutions.

  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs, challenges, and risk posture.


3. Sales Strategy & Pipeline Management

  • Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy aligned with Blackthorn Tactical’s growth goals.

  • Create tailored proposals in coordination with leadership and technical teams.

  • Track leads, outreach, meetings, and conversions using CRM tools.

  • Maintain a disciplined follow-up cadence to advance prospects and close deals.

  • Analyze the sales funnel and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and performance.


4. Collaboration with Leadership & Technical Teams

  • Work closely with Blackthorn Tactical leadership to align sales goals with operational capabilities.

  • Coordinate with red team, blue team, and advisory personnel to ensure accurate service representation.

  • Assist in scoping sessions to translate client needs into actionable service proposals.

  • Provide field-level insights regarding market trends, industry concerns, and client requests.


5. Market Awareness & Brand Representation

  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging threats, and competitor offerings.

  • Attend networking events, conferences, and security industry expos to promote brand awareness.

  • Represent Blackthorn Tactical with professionalism, integrity, and tactical awareness at all times.

  • Actively promote the brand through personal networks, social platforms (LinkedIn), and cold outreach efforts.


Required Qualifications

Professional Skills

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition (preferably B2B).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to clearly articulate value propositions and technical concepts.

  • High confidence presenting to executives, directors, and security leadership.

  • Exceptional organization, follow-through, and pipeline discipline.

  • Skilled in negotiation, closing strategy, and objection handling.

Industry Knowledge (Preferred but Not Required)

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, physical security, red teaming, or risk management.

  • Understanding of enterprise security challenges (technical or operational).

  • Basic awareness of cyber-physical threats and defensive strategies.

  • Experience selling services to casinos, hotels, corporations, industrial facilities, or private sectors.

Compensation

This is a commission-based role with uncapped earning potential.

Compensation includes:

  • Percentage-based commission on all closed deals

  • Higher commission tiers for larger contracts or recurring engagements

  • Performance bonus opportunities

  • No limit on total earnings — the more you produce, the more you earn

There is no base salary for this position.
